Luxury holidays and a £7k Rolex, the lavish lifestyle of cocaine kingpin comes crashing down
Three men have been jailed
The ‘lavish lifestyle’ of holidays, designer clothes and expensive watches a drugs gang boss lived has come crashing down after he was jailed together with two others.
Rhys Shaw, 34, was described by police as Leonard’s right-hand man, with Mark Cosgrave, 52, in charge of storing drugs at his home.

Together, police said Leonard, Shaw and Cosgrave obtained ‘large weights’ of cocaine before breaking down the drug and supplying it to other drug dealers across Greater Manchester.
The police investigation uncovered that between November 2023 and May 2024, the gang supplied approximately 14 kilos of cocaine.
The trio were arrested in May last year.
Cocaine worth £24,000 was found at Cosgrave’s home, together with adulterants and a hydraulic press .
Police found £7,000 cash at Shaw’s address, with three Rolex watches worth more than £80,000 seized by police at Leonard’s home.
Leonard, of Corston Grove, Blackrod, Bolton, was jailed for 14 years and three months.
Shaw, of Albert Road, Bury, was said to be responsible for supplying street dealers and collecting cash from drug sales. He was sentenced to seven years and six months.
Cosgrave, of Medlock Way, Bury, got six years and nine months. All three were convicted of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, police said.
GMP said: “Leonard was identified as the head of the group, arranging the influx of large weights of cocaine and instructing the others to collect money and deal the drugs on his behalf.
“There was evidence that Leonard was clearly living a lavish lifestyle as a result of his criminality, often going on luxury holidays, and wearing designer clothing and expensive watches.”
Detective Inspector Waywell, of Bolton Challenger Unit, said: “I am pleased with this sentence today. I hope it sends a stark message to anyone looking to commit drug offences, and I hope it reassures our residents that we will continue to act on intelligence to keep them safe.
