Three men arrested following Whiteville drug trafficking bust

WHITEVILLE, N.C. (WECT) – The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has made three drug trafficking arrests following public complaints.
Investigators with the CCSO Vice/ Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division searched a Whiteville property on Oct. 16, where detectives found “trafficking amounts of illegal narcotics along with multiple firearms at the residence.”
The following individuals were arrested and charged in connection with the search:
Brandon Tyler Butler

- Two counts of Felony Trafficking, Opium or Heroin
- Two counts of Felony PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Felony PWIMSD Schedule IV Controlled Substance
- Felony Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance
- Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Ricky Dale Butler, Sr.

- Felony Possession of Firearm by Felon
Kameron Blake Quattlebaum

- Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
All three men are being held at the Columbus County Law Enforcement Center.
