Missy Elliott wants to give her fans what they want.

On Nov. 25, the rapper, 54, posted on X asking Geffen Records and Universal Music Group, the labels responsible for the distribution of the Shark Tale soundtrack, to add her and Christina Aguilera’s song “Car Wash” to streaming platforms.

After she liked a post expressing love for their duet on Nov. 23, a fan tagged the star asking for “Car Wash” to be put on streaming services. Currently, seven out of 13 songs on the soundtrack are unavailable on Spotify, including Elliott and Aguilera’s closing duet, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland’s “Good Foot” and Mary J. “Car Wash” served as the final track to the 2004 animated film, with Elliott and Aguilera performing it in the last scene as fish versions of themselves.

In addition to a star-studded soundtrack, Shark Tale also featured an A-list cast of Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Renée Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black and Martin Scorsese.
