There’s no doubt that Christina Aguilera is willing to go to great lengths for her music, and apparently, she’s also willing to go to great heights as well. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, December 2, the star shared a behind-the-scenes look at her about to perform for her holiday special “Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris.”

In the video, the star can be seen in the Eiffel Tower elevator, and while she looks gorgeous in her holiday ensemble, she also looks quite nervous — and it’s not the performance that has her scared.

In the caption, she wrote, “….when you’re terrified of heights but you have to sing on top of the Eiffel Tower🫠😳😅 … it was still magical✨”

Along with showing the star, the video also showed how high they were, reaching a staggering 906 feet high. At one point, the singer notes that her ears were popping and was told, “Oh, that’s not normal.”

The best part, though, might have been her adorable nervous laughter. If you happen to be afraid of heights as well, then you’ll not only relate to her behavior, but you might find the video a little spine-tingling.

Christina’s Fans Felt for the Star

It turns out that the singer is far from alone when it comes to her fear of heights and apprehension over the height that the Eiffel Tower elevator reaches.

One person wrote, “Aww! lol if this wouldn’t be my same exact reaction 😂😂”

“You’re SO real for this girl,” another added.

A third person took to the comments to say, “This is so cuuuuute 😂,”

“The things you do for your art.. I can’t wait to watch the film. 😍,” came from another follower.

Someone else noted the star’s professionalism even in the face of fear, saying, “I’m crying 😂 Crazy in the elevator, perfect Diva in front of the crew 💫”

Christina Says ‘Paris at Christmas Has a Magic All Of Its Own’

If Aguilera’s video made you even more excited about her festive special — which marks the 25th anniversary of the singer’s holiday album “My Kind of Christmas” — then you’ll surely be interested in what the star has to say about it.

“This film is a celebration,” she noted while discussing the special in the trailer. “Paris at Christmas has a magic all of its own. There’s something so poetic about celebrating this milestone here — in a city that feels like pure inspiration.”
