BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says a Belhaven man is behind bars on gun and drug charges.
They arrested 39-year-old Arnold Whitney after locating 15 grams of cocaine, 171 grams of marijuana, and an AR-15 rifle on his property.
He’s charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling to keep controlled substances, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Whitney is in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond.
