WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) – The Butler County Coroner says Joshua Al-Lateef did drown.

An autopsy has been performed, according to the coroner’s office. In a preliminary report, the coroner’s office notes the drowning was accidental.

Joshua’s parents left him with an adult sibling, and that’s when he went missing from his Wyndtree Drive home.

Several search and rescue groups searched eight retention ponds. Dive crews found him in one of them Thursday night.
