VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRC) – A 6-year-old boy with autism was rescued from a pond on Christmas Day by police, marking the second time in less than 18 months that the child has been found in water.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office identified the boy as Coco, who was found in chest-deep water, CBS News reported.

Video released by the sheriff’s office shows officers searching for Coco before a helicopter crew spotted him in the water.

Although cold, Coco was not injured, police said. Authorities said the boy is nonverbal and known to be attracted to water, CBS News reported.
