MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers arrested two people after a report of a domestic violence incident led to drugs allegedly being found inside a home and near a child, News 5 has learned.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of Brewton Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Christmas for a report of a domestic incident.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with injuries from an assault, which allegedly happened after an argument inside the home. Officials said a man had hit the woman.

The investigation revealed drugs inside the home near a child, according to the release.

Terrence Fayne Jr., 34, and Jacobie Fayne, 29, both of Mobile, were arrested and taken to Mobile Metro Jail.

Terrence was charged with third-degree domestic violence, chemical endangerment of a child, second-degree possession of marijuana, trafficking synthetic marijuana, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jacobie was charged with second-degree marijuana possession, chemical endangerment of a child, trafficking synthetic marijuana, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
