OZARK COUNTY, Mo. — The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people for their alleged involvement with drug-related crimes.

Gary Donley, 67, faces charges of second-degree trafficking drugs, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon – subsection 11, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Venessia Donley, 62, faces charges of delivering a controlled substance, except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, possession of a controlled substance, and a prior misdemeanor drug offense.

According to an Ozark County Sheriff’s press release, on Dec. 19, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant for the residence of Gary and Venessia Donley in Theodosia after several lengthy investigations.

Venessia was stopped in her vehicle in Theodosia, and K9 Karo alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

Over 24 grams of meth and Hydrocodone pills were seized from the vehicle.

At the same time, deputies arrived at their residence. Gary arrived at the residence with over four ounces of meth in his vehicle with him.

The residence was searched and an additional ounce of meth was located inside the residence along with scales, paraphernalia, and a firearm.
