A federal jury in Charlotte, NC convicted Kareem Hicks, 45, of trafficking cocaine on January 6, 2026 in Charlotte, NC. Kareem was a member of a drug trafficking organization known as “Getting Money Brothers” Also in the group and arrested were Mandella Wolfe, 36, his brother Campton Wolfe, 39, Whynell Rodriguez, 41, and Dwight Hallman, 42. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

According to evidence presented at trial, from 2023 to 2025, Getting Money Brothers distributed large amounts of cocaine, cocaine base, and other narcotics in the Charlotte area, as well as operated multiple drug stash houses.

During the course of the two years the drug dealers sold more than 50 kilograms of cocaine and crack. Investigators ultimately seized more than 20 kilograms of methamphetamine, six kilograms of cocaine, and a kilogram of fentanyl.

The interdiction of the group also led to the seizure of more than 30 firearms from various individuals. Trial evidence established that, on March 18, 2024, Kareem traveled to Charlotte from New Jersey to purchase a large amount of cocaine from the Wolfe brothers.

Following his meeting with Wolfe, officers executed a federal search warrant and located approximately 200 grams of cocaine in Kareem’s suitcase.

All suspects were arrested and later pled guilty to cocaine trafficking offenses. They are awaiting prison sentencing.
