A parking complaint on Monday led Bremerton police to firearms, manufactured gun parts, drugs, and counterfeiting materials.

Officers were called to a parking complaint in west Bremerton where they found an empty car parked and blocking a crosswalk. Officers looked into the car from the outside and spotted numerous gun parts scattered on the backseat. They also saw a 3D printer and other items that led them to believe the gun parts may have been illegally manufactured by the owner of the car.

An investigation into the car led police to a nearby home, where officers found ammunition scattered across the floor and several abandoned bags. After getting warrants for the car and bags, police found about two dozen ghost gun frames, two complete guns, three switches used to convert a semi-automatic handgun into a fully-automatic machine gun, more than four ounces of cocaine, several grams of methamphetamine, and drug distribution materials.

Investigators also found blank check stock, forged checks, counterfeit bills, and materials to make counterfeit bills.

Police have identified a suspect as the investigation continues.
