When rescuers first approached Spout, they couldn’t believe their eyes. This Tibetan Mastiff was covered in thick, hardened clumps of fur that felt like solid stone. The weight was so immense that it completely blocked her vision and made every single step an agonizing struggle.
After a long grooming session, rescuers removed a staggering 32.4 lbs (approx. 14.7 kg) of matted fur from her body. Hidden beneath that mass was skin severely inflamed from lack of air and years of neglect.
2. The Sad Past of a “Breeding Machine”
Spout had been raised for one purpose only: breeding. Her entire life had revolved around producing puppies, without ever knowing a gentle touch or the simplest form of human affection. She grew up in total indifference, treated as a money-making tool rather than a living being in need of love.
3. A Miraculous Recovery
After just two weeks of medical care and proper hygiene, Spout’s skin showed visible improvement. From a shy, traumatized dog, she began to reveal her true personality: a curious, puppy-like soul hidden within her large frame.
