Fivio Foreign appears to have a more personal connection to autism than fans expected.

With April being recognized as Autism Acceptance Month (previously Autism Awareness Month), the rapper took to X on Mar. 31 with a message about autism that seemingly relates to his personal life.

“Autism Awareness Month..I feel a big way about this, but I’m not ready to speak on my personal life to this extent yet,” he wrote.

The post comes out of left field because the rapper has never referenced autism in his career. Though the message could be in reference to him, it could also be about someone in his family — potentially, one of three children who he keeps out of the public eye.

In other Fivio news, the rapper opened up about how sobriety has helped him prioritize his time better back in January.

He’d previously announced his intent to enter into rehab in late December, saying that he wanted to “stop making a lot of dumb decisions.” In an Instagram reel at the time, he revealed that his treatment would cost a whopping $10,000.

Weeks later, on Jan. 14, Fivio updated his fans about how sobriety led to personal improvement. “Sobriety helped me realize how much time I was wasting on being smacked,” he wrote. “I deadass got mad time on my hands now.”

The rapper had compared his drug addiction to Eminem, mentioning the rapper’s “Lace It” collab with Juice WRLD. “It’s kind of like that same situation with Juice WRLD and Eminem, too, like, my drug addiction,” Fivio said. “And when I’m going through my phrase of trying to stop and change and grow, I listen to that skit.”
