“We will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” attorney Bradford Cohen said

Ice Spice was attacked while out with a friend in a California McDonald’s in what her lawyer is calling an “unprovoked attack.”
Surveillance footage obtained by TMZ and posted online shows the rapper, real name Isis Gaston, wearing a gray hoodie as she sat across from a female friend at a booth in the fast-food restaurant early in the morning on Wednesday, April 15.
A few seconds into the video, a woman is seen jogging inside before approaching their table and motioning for Ice Spice’s friend to scoot over so she can join them.

After the friend said, “Girl,” the woman appeared to start a conversation with Ice Spice, asking her where she’s from.
While Ice Spice pointed at the door seemingly in an effort to get her to leave, the woman repeated the question, slowly got closer to Ice Spice, slapped her, and continued to physically attack the rapper.
As the two scuffled, Ice Spice jumped from table to table chasing the alleged attacker as the woman was pulled outside by a man who appeared to know her.
After another spectator asked Ice Spice and her friend if they’re okay, the Grammy-nominated artist stood in the McDonald’s doorway talking to the man, who appeared to say the woman who allegedly hit the rapper is drunk.
In one of the other two clips obtained by TMZ, Ice Spice is seen picking up a phone that the outlet reported belonged to one of the woman’s friends.
Ice Spice is then seen continuing to talk to the man, who told her to “just relax,” and “let it go.”
The performer continued to argue with the woman’s friend, and they exchanged curses. The video then cut to another clip of the group crossing the street, during which a second fight broke out after Ice Spice appeared to be attacked again.

In a statement to TMZ, Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said that “the unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly. We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
PEOPLE has reached out to a rep for Ice Spice, Cohen and the LAPD for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
TMZ spoke with the woman identified as Vayah, who claimed she was giving Ice Spice and her friend a “compliment” but alleged that the rapper was being “rude” in response.
She claimed to have only attacked the “Deli” hitmaker after Ice Spice allegedly called her a bitch.

Vayah told TMZ that she went to her car after being escorted out of McDonald’s, but admitted to approaching Ice Spice again after hearing the rapper talking a “whole lot of mess.”
