“Vanderpump Rules” alum Stassi Schroeder revealed in a new interview with Marie Claire that she and castmate Katie Maloney “had a falling out for years” behind the scenes.
“No one knows,” the reality star dished to the magazine. “Now we’re rebuilding our friendship after growing in two completely different directions.”
Schroeder said her new show, “House of Stassi,” will dive deeper into examining these kinds of ebbs and flows between friends.
“I don’t see TV shows out there that explore how when you get to a certain age and you all choose different paths in life, how that affects your friendships and then how you come back together,” she teased.
Schroeder starred on “Vanderpump Rules” for the first eight seasons, while Maloney remained as a main cast member for 11 seasons.
During her time on the show, Schroeder saw ups and downs in her friendships with not just Maloney but with other cast members as well, including Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay.
Viewers also saw her move on from ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor to finding her happily ever after with husband Beau Clark, whom she wed in September 2020.
The couple have since welcomed two children: daughter Hartford, 5, and son Messer, 2.
Elsewhere during her Marie Claire interview, Schroeder promised fans they will see a new side of her — having left her “it’s my f–king birthday” and “bossy Stassi” days behind her for good.
“The last time people saw me, I was this crazy girl…crashing out, dark passengering,” she said. “I work really hard. I try really hard and I’m constantly trying to build the most for my family, and I’m proud of what I’ve done in the last five years.”
“I still crash out,” she reassured them. “It just looks different.”
Schroder also addressed how she has grown over the years following her cancellation after her treatment of “Vanderpump Rules” castmate Faith Stowers, the only black cast member on the show, and past racist comments came to light, resulting in the loss of brand sponsorships and her being dropped by her PR company.
