Apple Music Replay released earlier today, letting users look back on their year with music. According to the tech company, Apple Music subscribers listened to ROSÉ & Bruno Mars ‘APT.’ more than any other song this year.

Well folks, 2025 is just about over, which means it’s time to have your music habits shared with you in a snappy, social media-friendly format.

Apple Music Replay 2025 released today, highlighting subscribers favourite artists and tracks they listened to throughout the year.

Much like Spotify’s Wrapped, users can expect to see their total listening time, the number of artists they checked out, their most-listened-to-song and album, and more. Apple added a new category this year, showing users what new artists they started listening to in 2025.

If you’re like me and ditched Spotify in the later half of the year, your year with Apple Music might be a bit bare, but hey, stats are stats, right?

Most importantly as well, Apple Music Replay won’t call you a pink pilates princess this year, which is always a plus in my book.

With Apple Music Replay launching today, the company has also shared some interesting stats on users’ overall listening habits.

What struck me the most was that 2025 was actually a pretty weak year overall for new pop music, as a majority of the top 100 songs listened to this year were actually released in 2024.

Claiming the top spot was ROSÉ & Bruno Mars’ smash hit ‘APT.’, followed by Kendrick Lamar’s and SZA’s duet ‘luther’, both from 2024. The first track from 2025 would appear at the number 8 spot, with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti’s track ‘Timeless’ from the singer’s album Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Interestingly, nearly no metal or rock tracks appeared on the top 100 tracks by the end of the year, despite both Deftones, Sleep Token, and Twenty One Pilots having breakout sales years on Billboard’s charts. In place of rock, however, was a decent showing from country artists, including Alex Warren, Shaboozey, Morgan Wallen and more, making appearances throughout the list.

Benson Boone and Hozier also took respectable spots, with Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’ appearing at number 17 and Hozier’s ‘Too Sweet’ taking the 50th spot.

It’ll be interesting to see how listening habits differ between Spotify, Tidal and more when their lists drop later this year, although I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s yet another ‘APT.’ sweep.

You can check out your Apple Music Replay through the app or website from today.
