He’s awaiting trial for an alleged assault in a nightclub – but this controversial star is still living the high life, dropping eye-watering amounts.

Rapper Chris Brown footed a £160,240 (approximately $$325,000) booze bill during a wild night out in London.

The US star — on bail for assault — partied with his entourage in the British capital ahead of his trial next year.

One session involved at least four bottles of £2,900-a-time ($5879) Louis Roederer Cristal Magnum Champagne at the Selene nightclub, which promises “the epitome of ultimate pleasure”.

Days later, the West End club posted the anonymous megabucks receipt on social media.

Some of those who partied with him — including models and other rappers — have revealed Chris footed the bill.

His entourage also posted the receipt alongside shots of a private jet and luxury hotel suites from his ten-day visit, after he flew in on October 18.

One insider told The Sun: “Chris lives life in the fast lane and thinks nothing of splashing out on the best there is.”

Brown is set to stand trial in London next October, accused of attacking music producer Abraham Diaw at the Tape club in the exclusive London precinct of Mayfair in 2023.

He denies actual bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm and having an offensive weapon — a tequila bottle.

The rapper’s agents were approached for comment.

It comes after Brown was freed on bail after paying a £5 million security fee to the court.

The two-time Grammy-winner, who performed a string of UK gigs earlier this year while attending court appearances, had posted on Instagram: “From the cage to the stage!”

The court heard previously that Brown is alleged to have struck Abe Diaw “several times” with a bottle before chasing him across the bar.

He is then accused of punching and kicking him alongside his co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu.

Akinlolu – a US rapper who performs under the name HoodyBaby – also pleaded not guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

The alleged attack was captured on CCTV in a club “full of people”, it was said.
