ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Star singer-songwriter Bruno Mars is adding a second Atlanta show to his upcoming tour.
The artist was already set to perform at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field on April 25. Now, he’ll also take the stage on April 26.
The change comes as demand for “The Romantic Tour” broke Live Nation records. The entertainment company said it saw the largest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation North American tour history.
Atlanta is just one of 30 shows Mars added to the roster — including in cities like Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Madrid, Milan and more. The tour now spans nearly 70 shows across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
“The Romantic Tour” celebrates the artist’s fourth solo album, “The Romantic,” which comes out on Feb. 27. It’s his first headline tour since 2017, which saw the “24K Magic World Tour.”
General sale begins on Thursday at noon on Bruno Mars’ website. The openers include Victoria Monét, RAYE, Anderson. Paak as DJ Pee Wee and Leon Thomas, with the last two opening for Atlanta.
