“I Just Might” is the lead single off Mars’ upcoming album, ‘The Romantic’

The first single from Bruno Mars’ new album is here.

The 16-time Grammy winner released his funky new song “I Just Might” on Friday, Jan. 9 alongside a music video centered on a party-like performance scene featuring several duplicate versions of Mars.

He posted about the song and video on Instagram, writing in the caption, “It’s party time! The self proclaimed Aura Lord is Back. I Just Might song and video out now!”

The music video takes place in a carpeted studio space fit for a full band — except Mars is the lead singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer, DJ and dancers. He sports a green suit in the clip, performing synchronized choreography with each copy of himself.

Throughout the video, Mars also portrays a cameraman filming himself performing the song as colorful lights fill the space.

“I Just Might” finds the Silk Sonic musician singing lyrics about meeting a potential romantic partner on the dance floor and considering a future together. “Hey, Mr. DJ / Play a song for this pretty little lady / ‘Cause if she dance as good as she look right now / I just might, I just might make her my baby,” he sings on the chorus.

The song serves as the lead single off Mars’ upcoming album The Romantic, which comes out on Feb. 27. He announced the forthcoming body of work earlier this week and unveiled the cover artwork.

Following the album’s release, Mars will embark on The Romantic Tour. Kicking off April 10 in Las Vegas, the “Uptown Funk” musician will make stops in cities including Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Philadelphia, Miami, Los Angeles and more before wrapping Oct. 14 in Vancouver, Canada.
