A Buffalo man and woman have been arrested after a narcotics investigation. 

Laquil D. Hilson, 31, and Antwaniya S.C. Brown, 22, were both charged Jan. 19 with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, five counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and three counts each of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

At about 4:47 p.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at 900 N. Main St., Apartment 3. Hilson and Brown were located inside.

After the residence was secured, detectives searched it and located 34 grams of crack cocaine, 48.7 grams of powder cocaine, 126 grams of methamphetamine and 66.2 grams of fentanyl, scales, calibration weights, packaging materials and cutting agents inside, and just outside of the residence that was hidden by Hilson and Brown.

Hilson, officials said, also had $1,438 on his person believed to be the proceeds from drug sales.
