Christina Aguilera Goes Pantsless in a Plunging Corset Dripping in Pearls

Weeks after dressing up as a sexy pirate for Halloween, Christina Aguilera is serving up mermaid-esque glamour in her latest Instagram post. On Monday, she shared a sneak peek at her upcoming Christmas special, including her cover of “My Favorite Things.”

The pop star went pantsless in a plunging ivory satin corset dripping in pearls. Aguilera added on an emerald and diamond necklace, completing her look with sheer elbow-length gloves and sharp stilettos.

“My Favorite Things—the first single from my upcoming Christmas special, recorded live from the Eiffel Tower—arrives tomorrow 🥰✨💖🎄,” Aguilera wrote in the caption.

Last month, the “Dirrty” artist showed off her pirate-inspired Halloween costume, complete with a 3D-printed headpiece.

Created by Chrishabana, the boat-shaped accessory was “melted, fragmented, and painted to emulate the ruins of a shipwreck.” Aguilera paired it with a sleeveless ruffled white dress and a lacy black bra, as well as a corset, fishnet tights, and knee-high boots.

“Love shipwrecked hair,” Aguilera said in a short video as her hairstylist combed her wavy platinum blonde strands. “This is amazing.”

“This is now giving Ursula’s coming and trying to destroy everything,” Aguilera continued, referencing the Little Mermaid‘s evil sea witch.

Fans of Aguilera’s will know that fishnets were also a key element of her “Dirrty”-era look, which incorporates edgy fashion elements like chaps and bikini tops. In September, she revived her 2000s aesthetic during a performance at Portola Festival in San Francisco.

Recreating her music video ensemble, Aguilera broke out chainmail chaps, leather short shorts and a black corset. She paired the layered look with fishnet tights and oversized sunnies, per Page Six.
