Aguilera has two kids, son Max Liron, 18, and daughter Summer, 10
Christina Aguilera says that her kids prefer it when she embraces her natural beauty.
While discussing how her kids Max Liron, 17, and Summer Rain, 10, keep her grounded and humble during the Dec. 9 episode of the Jennifer Hudson Show, the 44-year-old singer also shared that she’s found it valuable to “learn from their eyes.”
She emphasized that her kids “see every side of me,” and when it comes to which version of her they prefer, Aguilera revealed that her daughter, whom she shares with fiancé Matt Rutler, likes her best when she ditches her full glam and embraces mom mode.
“Summer’s favorite side of me is no-makeup mama,” she told Hudson, 44, of her youngest. “As soon as I’m done shooting or whatever, she’s like, ‘Okay can you take that off? Now it’s time to be cozy.’ ”

“She loves my freckles and I cover them a lot, but she just loves mama’s freckles,” she added. “She’s like, ‘Am I gonna have freckles one day?’ She’s the number one mama fan.”

Along with being her biggest supporter, Aguilera also said that Summer may be following in her creative footsteps.
“She’s such an artist, she paints, she draws, she makes beautiful masks, and she’s just so creative, but she’s definitely her own thing,” she explained. “And I never want to push anything on my kids, whatever they’re passionate about, I’m there to support it, but she has taken an interest in acting, so she’s had a few lessons.”
But when it comes to her son, whom she shares with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, Aguilera said that earning “cool mom points” has been no easy feat.
“It’s tough with kids in general,” she admitted. “They will call you out for anything and everything. And I’m like, ‘I’ve lived through some things, too!’ ”

Indeed, Aguilera recently performed on top of the Eiffel Tower as the centerpiece for her concert film Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris — although it wasn’t the most enjoyable experience for her.
“Singing atop the Eiffel Tower, that was … I am terrified of heights,” she shared. “I don’t even do Ferris wheels because I’m so afraid of heights. It’s like I’ll do a coaster, but like don’t put me still above up in the air looking down.”
“I was literally terrified,” she continued. “There was a moment, I mean, you just go up and up and up, and I don’t like elevators either. So it’s like double whammy.”
Aguilera’s latest project, Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris, will play in theaters on Dec. 14 and Dec. 21.
