Christina Aguilera Turns Heads in a Red-Hot Swimsuit Paired With Sky-High Stilettos

Christina Aguilera is taking a break from her Burlesque-coded style era in favor of another red-hot swimwear moment. Just weeks after going full pin-up in a plunging red bikini, “Genie In a Bottle” singer embraced the late summer vibes with a high-octane glamour display on Friday, August 22, posing in a pool while wearing a curve-hugging red swimsuit.

“Breakfast is served,” Xtina appropriately captioned a sultry carousel shared with her 10.3 million Instagram followers, which she set to her steamy track “Sex For Breakfast.” The Burlesque star opted for full glam while posing for a photoshoot taken on a white lounge chair that was placed in a pool with a scenic ocean view behind her. Flipping her platinum blonde hair behind her and arching her back, Aguilera modeled a one-shoulder dark maroon swimsuit that was embellished with a gold hardware accent on her left shoulder.

The “Dirrty” singer accessorized her swimwear look with sky-high peep-toe nude heels, which she embellished with a gold ankle bracelet. Oversized black sunglasses and several large gold huggie-style earrings finished off her look. Aguilera complemented her tan complexion with sculpted cheeks and a matte mauve pout.

Aguilera has been favoring a gothic, moody style and beauty aesthetic in recent weeks as a nod to Burlesque’s boudoir aesthetic, like the lace-up black minidress made out out of black string and metal grommets that she wore to the musical’s premiere in London. She also opted for a daring black lipstick transformation while rewearing an iconic lace-up green Versace dress that she last donned back in 2003.

However, the star appears to be slowly transitioning back into her pin-up sartorial era, which she demonstrated with a bold red retro-style bikini moment on August 16. “Forget about your Monday morning,” Aguilera teased in an Instagram photo dump which saw her provocatively licking a popsicle and a colorful snow cone as she posed in a red balconette bikini trimmed with white accents.
