Christina Aguilera’s Strapless Corset Bodysuit is Literally Wrapped in Plastic

Christina Aguilera’s latest era is “loading.” On Wednesday, the pop star appeared to tease an upcoming project with a series of sultry portraits.

“Loading…” she wrote in the caption of her latest Instagram post.

In the two separate photos, Aguilera modeled a strapless bodysuit covered in plastic, while extra sheets of cling wrap were formed into a choker and a headpiece. She completed her look with nude tights, massive shield frames, and stiletto mules.

The singer recalled her “Dirrty” days in a separate set of images, which depicted her in a cutout bra with black dip-dyed hair. She famously added dark streaks to her platinum blonde lengths for the song’s 2002 music video. Aguilera updated the hairdo for her Instagram photoshoot, wearing it fully straightened with piece-y fringe.

Finally, Aguilera sported an asymmetrical white top with gray high-waisted underwear, adding on a brown belt with a statement buckle reading “Lucky.”

Back in January, Aguilera stripped down for another Instagram carousel. She went completely topless, wearing nothing but a diamond necklace and a tiered black tulle skirt. Her long tresses were styled in loose waves, while her makeup consisted of black eyeliner and a nude lip.

“Northern lights, Parisian nights,” Aguilera wrote at the time.

As indicated by the caption, her post also included pictures of the Northern Lights, which could be seen from her plane window.

The Grammy winner filmed her Christmas special in the French capital last fall. In November, Aguilera modeled a plunging satin corset dripping with pearls in a behind-the-scenes clip uploaded on Instagram. She accessorized with an emerald and diamond necklace, as well as sheer elbow-length gloves and stilettos.

“My Favorite Things—the first single from my upcoming Christmas special, recorded live from the Eiffel Tower—arrives tomorrow,” Aguilera shared in her caption.
