HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – The Department of Consumer Protection has suspended all business licenses for Los Bandoleros Inc. following the federal drug arrest of an employee.

The Hartford business on Albany Avenue lost three state permits effective immediately after the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested employee Reymon Rojas on narcotics trafficking and firearm possession charges.

Los Bandoleros held a lottery sales agent license issued July 1, 2025, and set to expire March 31, 2026. The business also had a non-legend drug permit issued March 4, 2025, expiring December 31, 2026, and an electronic nicotine delivery system registration issued March 4, 2025, expiring February 28, 2026.

The suspension resulted from a Department of Consumer Protection investigation into a pending application. Investigators learned about Rojas’ arrest during the inquiry.

“During the DEA’s investigation, they uncovered illegal narcotics including fentanyl and distribution paraphernalia and a loaded firearm,” said DCP Commissioner Bryan T. Cafferelli. “Given these facts, it’s clear this premise is unsafe for the public and poses a clear threat to the community.”

The DEA investigation found fentanyl, drug distribution equipment and a loaded firearm at the location, according to the state DCP.
