On November 30, footage from Nina’s Twitch stream went viral on social media, showing the influencer at a Target self-checkout.

While scanning her items, the streamer called the price of items “GGs” and criticized their cost. Users then accused Nina of scanning butter on top of a different purchase before putting it into her bag.

“She didn’t scan the steak,” one user in her chat commented.

“She’s scanning the butter, not the meat,” remarked another.

Lin turned to the camera and said, “we are too poor for this,” before urging her viewers to subscribe to her channel.

Clips of the theft have gone viral and many are calling on her to be suspended from the platform.

Twitch users demand Nina Lin be banned for Target theft

Across X and other social media platforms, users tagged Twitch Support and the site’s CEO, Dan Clancy, demanding action be taken against Nina Lin.

“Hey Twitch, for some reason, the person who committed sexual assault while streaming on your platform is unbanned and now promoting shoplifting- theft – another crime,” YouTuber MadamSavvy said. “Dan Clancy, is this what you want?”

Savvy was referencing a series of clips involving Nina with Disguised Toast and FaZe Silky’s assistant, Said.

Nina banned on Twitch again

On December 2, Nina’s account was suspended on Twitch – the third suspension in less than 6 weeks, after she was banned for 2 days on October 25, and then for 7 days on October 30.
