North Las Vegas police search for missing 14-year-old with autism

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — North Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 14-year-old child.

Officials with the North Las Vegas Police Department said Peter was last seen Monday late afternoon, near Aliante Parkway and Deer Springs Way. He was last seen walking southbound after exiting a car. Police searched the area but were not able to find him.

Police say Peter is 5′9″, weighs about 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black and orange shoes. He has autism, and police say he functions at a 9-year-old level. He is sociable and known to communicate with others.

Police say Peter does not have food with him and was not wearing a sweater at the time he was last seen.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Peter is asked by police to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department immediately at 702-633-9111.
