MANASSAS, Va. — Two women are facing a long list of charges after a weekend drug bust in Prince William County.
Police say the duo was arrested Saturday after investigators found 232 small bags of suspected crack cocaine, two large bags of suspected cocaine, one bottle of suspected PCP, one large bag of white powder, approximately 1,000 empty small bags and two digital scales.
Manassas City Police Special Problems Unit were investigating a narcotics case at 8600 block of Bruton Parish Court. Before officers arrived, they noticed a wanted person, 30-year-old Alexis Smith on the property. However, when officers went to enter the home, the person who answered the door said that Smith was not at the home.
As soon as officers entered the home, they found narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia. Officers eventually found Smith and another wanted person, 21-year-old Michelle Tenango Solelo, inside a restroom. Both people were taken into custody.
Smith is being charged with two counts of distribution with the intent to distribute drugs, failure to appear, Prince William County warrants for forgery, false ID, and obstruction of justice. Smith is also being charged with Manassas Park warrants for possession of drugs, not paying for hospitality services, and forgery.
Tenango Sotelo is being charged with two counts of pretrial violations, Prince William County warrant for not paying for hospitality services, Manassas Park warrants for destruction of property and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Th investigation is still ongoing.
