Rob Reiner’s daughter makes a chilling statement to police following the death of her father and stepmother at their home.

New Disturbing Details Emerge in the Deaths of Rob Reiner and His Wife
More unsettling details are coming to light after Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home over the weekend.
According to reports, the couple was discovered on Sunday, December 14, in their Brentwood residence. Authorities reportedly described the scene as a “horror double murder,” with injuries consistent with stab wounds. The couple was found by their daughter, Romy.
TMZ reports that the couple may have been killed by a family member during a heated argument. At this time, the exact cause of the dispute remains unclear, but Romy reportedly told police that a family member had killed them. Their son, Nick, is currently being questioned in connection with the incident.
Sources cited by TMZ also said that Romy made a chilling comment to police about the family member, warning they “should be a suspect” because they are “dangerous.” Meanwhile, an unnamed source told the LA Times that there were no signs of forced entry and that the injuries appeared consistent with stab wounds.
At a news conference, LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton said the investigation is in its early stages. Detectives are obtaining a search warrant for a thorough examination of the property.
“At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is not seeking anyone as a suspect or person of interest,” Hamilton stated. “We will determine that as the investigation progresses.” He added that several family members would be interviewed, emphasizing that “no one has been detained; no one is being questioned as a suspect.”

Rob, 78, and Michele, 68, had been married since 1989 and lived in a gated Brentwood neighborhood decorated for the holidays. Rob, son of legendary comedian Carl Reiner, began his career as a comedy writer in the 1960s and later starred as Michael Stivic (“Meathead”) in All in the Family, earning two Primetime Emmy Awards. He went on to direct classics including This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, and When Harry Met Sally.
The couple shared three children—Jake, Nick, and Romy—while Rob also had a daughter, Tracy, from a previous marriage. Tracy was the first of Rob’s children to speak publicly following the tragedy, telling NBC News that she is “in shock.”
