On December 19th, 2025, the Troop B – Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement team charged both Tia-Rose G. Stephenson, 31, of Massena, NY, and Justin P. Love, 33, of Massena, NY, with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st degree (a Class A2 felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (a Class B felony), eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (a Class A misdemeanor), and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree (a Class A misdemeanor).
On that same day, a search warrant was executed at their residence as the result of a multi-agency investigation. The warrant revealed Stephenson and Love to be in possession of cocaine, scales packaging, and a quantity of currency indicative of drug sales. They were subsequently arrested and transported to the State Police station in Massena for processing. After being arraigned in the Town of Massena Court, both were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
The New York State Police was assisted by the Massena Police Department, the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
