GATES, N.Y. — ABC Gates Bowl hosted the Strike Out for Autism Open Handicap Bowling Tournament on Sunday.
The event supported AutismUp, an organization dedicated to helping families affected by autism. Last year, the tournament raised over $6,000, and the goal for this year was to surpass that amount.
The owner of ABC Gates Bowl has two children who are autistic and wanted to help AutismUp because of the support it provides to families in the area.
First place took home $1,200, and all proceeds went to AutismUp.
