Deputies pulled over a Dodge Challenger on Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont after they noticed an expired registration.

When deputies approached Kent’s vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana, resulting in a search of the vehicle, where deputies found 113 grams of marijuana, 28 grams of fentanyl and the above-mentioned money.

Deputies say Kent attempted to flee on foot, but was eventually apprehended.
