JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – An autistic child in York County was found in a neighbor’s pool after being missing for several hours on Tuesday.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department says at 7:30 a.m., officers began investigating a missing child incident on the 6100 block of Pine Road in Jackson Township.
It was discovered that the child, a three-year-old with autism, left the home at 4:30 a.m.
The child was spotted by a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter at 11:55 a.m. in an above-ground pool on the 4100 block of East Berlin Road, approximately half a mile away.
