DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — An area task force has announced its 2025 accomplishments as it carried out hundreds of operations to stop drug trafficking and gun-related crime.
The Regional Agency Narcotics and Gun Enforcement (R.A.N.G.E.) Task Force says it carried out more than 500 operations in the past year, leading to hundreds of arrests and confiscating large amounts of drugs and firearms across the region.
According to the data provided by the task force, investigators conducted 525 operations, including 184 search warrants connected to drugs and gun-related criminal activity.
The task force reported confiscating 21,047 grams of fentanyl, 52,195 doses of fentanyl pills, 20,342 grams of methamphetamine, 59,755 grams of cocaine, 92,576 grams of marijuana and 31,284 grams of THC.

Officials also said they recovered approximately $623,700 in cash believed to be connected to drug trafficking.
In total, the estimated value of confiscated drugs and firearms is more than $20 million, according to the task force.
Sheriff Streck from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office gave the following statement:
These numbers represent far more than statistics—they represent lives saved and communities made safer. By removing large quantities of deadly drugs like fentanyl and holding those responsible accountable, the R.A.N.G.E. Task Force is disrupting criminal networks and protecting families throughout our region.
Officials said the 2025 numbers reflect the ongoing efforts to respond to overdose risks, gun violence and drug-related crime.
The agency reports that its operations remain focused on disrupting trafficking networks and limiting the spread of drugs in the region.
