San Marcos Police seized cocaine, marijuana, liquid THC and thousands of pills from a house on the northwest side of the city. Erik Lee Cadena was arrested and charged with manufacturing or delivering controlled substances.
A San Marcos man was arrested after police seized thousands of pills and pounds of drugs from his home.
Erik Lee Cadena, 29, faces five counts of manufacturing or delivering controlled substances, the San Marcos Police Department said Sunday.
The department said a “tip from a concerned citizen” led to a search warrant for a house on Hughson Drive, on the Northwest Side of the city.
Inside the house, officers found 846 grams of cocaine, more than 2 pounds of raw crystal MDMA and more than 1,400 MDMA pills, San Marcos Police said. They also found 12.6 pounds of marijuana and 83 pounds of liquid THC, or Tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive component of marijuana.
Cadena had 540 THC vape cartridges, police said, as well as nearly 4,000 Adderall pills, 117 grams of ketamine and 30 grams of LSD.
All five drug charges are first-degree felonies, the department said.
While executing the search warrant, San Marcos Police also found four pistols, nine rifles, two shotguns and multiple high-capacity magazines. Cadena is not currently facing any charges related to the weapons, according to Hays County records.
Police also found more than $2,800 in cash and a Louis Vuitton backpack and other designer goods, police said.
Cadena posted bail and was released the same day he was arrested, Hays County jail records show.
