TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Two individuals of Topeka were arrested Saturday in connection with drug possession.
According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop around 2:27 a.m. at 5th and Topeka Avenue in Lyndon for a traffic violation.
During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.

Both Antoinette D. Latif, 60, of Topeka and Orman H. Jones, 49, of Topeka were arrested and booked into the Osage County Jail in connection with the following charges:
- Latif:
- Distribution of cocaine
- Driving while under the influence
- Possession of controlled substance
- Possession of a firearm while under the influence
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Transporting an open container
- No drug tax stamp
- Jones:
- Distribution of cocaine
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Transporting an open container
- No drug tax stamp
