Sydney Sweeney goes Old Hollywood glam in plunging crystal-covered gown for NYC ‘Housemaid’ screening
Sydney Sweeney was shining from head to toe at a New York City screening of “The Housemaid.”
The “Euphoria” alum arrived at the event in an Old Hollywood-style gown by Miu Miu with a plunging neckline and sweet bow at the empire waist.
The ivory crepe de chine dress featured silvery crystals, a delicate train and a chiffon stole with feathers, which she wore low on her arms for photographs on the event’s red carpet on Tuesday evening.
Sweeney, 28, went for a retro glam look with voluminous curls around her shoulders, boldly lined eyes and shimmery pink makeup. It was a departure from the more modern beauty looks she’s been sporting on this press tour: a sleek collarbone-length bob, bronze cheekbones and glossy nude, lined lips.
The actress was also photographed beside her “Housemaid” co-star, Amanda Seyfried, who wore a pink Versace gown by Dario Vitale with bold diamond necklaces and matching earrings by Tiffany & Co.
The “Christy” actress had a similar Marilyn Monroe-inspired Miu Miu moment on the Governors Awards red carpet last month, where she glowed in a vintage-style off-the-shoulder white gown with a sweetheart neckline and sequins.
In October, the “Immaculate” star wowed in a completely sheer silver gown by Christian Cowan at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women event.
Earlier this week, while promoting “The Housemaid,” the actress and producer was spotted in back-to-back red outfits.
She donned a cranberry satin midi dress by Alex Perry for a taping of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, followed by a bright red custom Patou ensemble — complete with a bubble miniskirt, cropped coat and matching suede Magda Butrym boots — for dinner at The Corner Store.
The actress’ latest spate of stylish outings comes amid an escalating romance with American businessman and record executive, Scooter Braun.
She was seen snuggling up to Braun, 44, in a white one-piece swimsuit in a hot tub during a Thanksgiving getaway at her Florida Keys oceanfront mansion.
Sweeney’s new psychological thriller, “The Housemaid,” hits theaters on Dec. 19.
