TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two people were arrested on Monday during a drug bust in Seneca County.

On Jan. 22, the Seneca County Drug Task Force, along with officers from the Tiffin Police Department and Fostoria Police Department, executed a drug-related search warrant at a residence in to 900 block of S. Poplar St. in Fostoria.

Officials say during the search, officers recovered criminal tools, drug paraphernalia, suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and other items that are common with drug trafficking.

Earlier that day, FPD officers were dispatched to the same address where they met Brittany Garner who told police she was the only person inside the house. When officers investigated, they located a man, Robert Hall, inside the house as well as a female overdose victim in the basement.

Police say prior to their arrival, Garner and Hall gave Narcan to the victim who later refused further treatment after EMS arrived on scene.

While at the house, officers noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view and contacted SCDTF who arrived and executed the search warrant. Following an investigation, Hall was arrested and charged with three counts of Receiving Stolen Property and Garner was charged with Obstruction of Official Business.

Officials say both Hall and Garner were transported to the Seneca County Jail.
