Agents seized nearly 1,900 pounds of drugs across six West Tennessee counties, Shelby, Haywood, Crockett, Gibson, Dyer, and Lake, setting new records for different types of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, promethazine, fentanyl and marijuana.
Investigators also made more than 100 arrests, took dozens of guns off the streets, and assisted in solving five homicide cases.
“These men and women work tirelessly sacrificing so much of their personal time and risking their lives to make West Tennessee a safer place to live, work and visit and I appreciate each and every one of them”, said Drug Task Force Director Johnie Carter.
