Kylie Jenner made a statement on the Met Gala 2026 red carpet in New York City on Monday wearing a jaw-dropping Schiaparelli gown.
The gown featured a heavily embellished pearl-covered train — and the front appeared to be falling down to reveal a nude illusion corset with faux nipples, belly button and body contours, nodding to the “dressed body” aspect of this year’s “Costume Art” theme.
The gown required roughly 11,000 hours of embroidery work, incorporating 2,000 satin stitch balls, 10,000 natural baroque pearls and more than 7,000 painted pearlescent fish scales, per a press release.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, bleached her eyebrows and wore her hair parted to the side with soft waves and a gelled curl at the front.
She upped the ante with dramatic diamond and pearl earrings and a matching collar necklace, skipping bracelets and rings for the bold look.
Boyfriend Timothée Chalamet did not walk the Met steps with Jenner; The “Dune” star skipped last year’s gala to watch the Knicks playoffs at home with friends — and it appears he may be committed once again to his favorite basketball team as they face off against the Philadelphia 76ers later tonight in NYC.
In recent months, the couple have been red carpet regulars, making date-night outings to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, “Marty Supreme” premiere and more, including a stop on Broadway this weekend ahead of the gala.
