Dianna Russini went viral in April 2026 over Page Six’s exclusive photos of herself and NFL coach Mike Vrabel holding hands at an Arizona resort, nearly six years into her marriage.
The sports journalist, who resigned from her role at the Athletic in the wake of the scandal, wed husband Kevin Goldschmidt in 2020.
The duo has two sons.
When Russini and Vrabel’s hugging made headlines, the sportscaster claimed, “The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.”
Vrabel, who is married to wife Jen, similarly dubbed their interaction “completely innocent” at the time — but admitted during an April 2026 press conference that he was having “difficult conversations” with his family and striving to show up as the “best version” of himself.

He is a Shake Shack executive
Goldschmidt has worked at Shake Shack since 2019, according to his LinkedIn.
In February 2025, he became the company’s vice president of total rewards and HR technology.
Goldschmidt, who is a 2007 Penn State University grad with a bachelor’s degree in finance, has also worked at Aramark and AmerisourceBergen.
He married Russini in 2020
In September 2020, Goldschmidt and Russini walked down the aisle.
The bride gushed over the nuptials via Instagram while celebrating the couple’s third anniversary.
“3 years. 2 babies. 1 new job. 0 regret,” she captioned the 2023 upload.
They share 2 children
The duo became parents in August 2021 when son Michael Andrew arrived.
“In a world filled with so many overrated experiences, this one lived up to it all and more,” the new mom told her Instagram followers at the time.
Joseph “Joey” Kevin joined the family in October of the following year.

Russini confessed during a February 2026 “Stugotz and Company” podcast episode that she and Goldschmidt had “never been more disconnected” due to her busy schedule.
“He doesn’t even know who I am right now,” she quipped at the time. “Our text messages look like two robots.”
Russini joked to listeners that her union was “falling apart” and that she had a “lot of work to do” with the businessman after the Super Bowl.
